Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 20, 2026 · Last Updated: April 20, 2026
1. Platform Overview
COQS.ai operates an event-driven motorcycle transaction platform serving the Florida riding community. Users list and purchase motorcycles through timed auctions tied to real motorcycle events — rallies, track days, meetups, and rides across the state.
COQS.ai provides the marketplace, listing tools, auction mechanics, event intelligence, and buyer/seller matching. Transaction closing — including escrow, payment processing, title verification, and title transfer — is handled by KeySavvy, a third-party transaction provider.
2. User Responsibilities
- Users must provide accurate and truthful information when creating accounts, listings, or bids.
- Sellers are responsible for all disclosures — including vehicle condition, title status, known issues, and supporting documentation.
- Buyers agree that bids placed on COQS.ai are serious and binding. Placing a bid constitutes a commitment to complete the transaction if the bid wins.
- Users must not engage in fraudulent activity, bid manipulation, or misrepresentation of any kind.
3. Auction Rules
- Auctions on COQS.ai are time-bound. Each auction has a defined start and end time, typically aligned to a motorcycle event.
- The highest bid at auction close wins, subject to any reserve price set by the seller.
- Anti-sniping rules may apply: bids placed in the final minutes of an auction may trigger a time extension to ensure fair bidding.
- Winning bidders are expected to complete the transaction through KeySavvy's closing process.
4. Deposit Policy
Buyers are required to place a $500 refundable deposit before placing a bid. This deposit signals serious intent and protects sellers from non-completing buyers.
If the buyer wins the auction and completes the transaction, the deposit is applied toward the purchase price. If the buyer fails to complete the transaction without valid reason, the deposit may be forfeited. If the buyer does not win the auction, the deposit is returned in full.
5. Transaction Handling
COQS.ai facilitates discovery, listing creation, event-driven auction mechanics, and buyer/seller matching. COQS.ai does not directly handle funds, hold escrow, or transfer vehicle titles.
All transaction closing services are provided by KeySavvy, including:
- Escrow services
- Title verification
- Lien payoff coordination
- Payment processing
- Title transfer
5A. Role of KeySavvy (Transaction Provider)
COQS.ai does not process payments, hold funds, or transfer vehicle titles. All transaction closing services — including payment processing, escrow, title verification, lien payoff, and title transfer — are handled by KeySavvy, a third-party transaction provider.
When a transaction is initiated on COQS.ai, users will be directed to KeySavvy to complete the closing process. By participating in a transaction, users agree to comply with KeySavvy's terms and processes.
COQS.ai acts solely as a marketplace and auction platform and is not a party to the financial transaction.
6. Fees
Sellers pay a success fee of 5% of the final sale price upon successful completion of a transaction. This fee is deducted during the closing process.
Buyers may incur transaction-related costs through KeySavvy's closing services, including title transfer fees and applicable taxes. Fee details are disclosed before transaction completion.
7. No Guarantees
COQS.ai does not guarantee sale outcomes, final sale prices, or the accuracy of user-submitted information. The COQ Score is an informational tool based on seller-provided evidence — it is not a certification, warranty, or guarantee of vehicle condition.
Users are responsible for their own due diligence. COQS.ai recommends that buyers independently verify vehicle condition, title status, and all material facts before completing a purchase.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, COQS.ai is not liable for:
- Misrepresentation by users (sellers or buyers)
- Transaction disputes handled by KeySavvy or other third parties
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities related to platform use
9. Account & Access
COQS.ai reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for misuse, fraud, violation of these terms, or any behavior that undermines the integrity of the platform. Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of COQS.ai shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
11. Updates to These Terms
COQS.ai may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
